King Air

King Air 200 at Queen City Airport

On November 8, 2011, the Lehigh Valley General Aviation Association and the Queen City Action Committee merged to form a single organization dedicated to the Lehigh Valley aviation community. Both organizations had a long history within the valley, dating back to at least 1990, when Andre Simon and Eric Thompson founded the LVGAA to provide a voice when on-airport insurance requirements for vehicles was increased. Throughout the years, both organizations have had a role in representing the general aviation community at all of the valley's airports.

The Corporation is incorporated under the Nonprofit Corporation Law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the following purpose or purposes:

  1. to study, develop, and preserve an interest in general aviation, including aviation safety and airport community relations; to act as a liaison to State and local governments and to provide assistance in connection with general aviation and airports; and to educate the public on the necessity and benefits of general aviation and airports.

  2. to engage in such other activity as may be necessary or desirable for the above purpose.

Our entire Lehigh Valley General Aviation Association sends it's heart-felt appreciation for AOPA's well-written letter in support of general aviation to the LNAA Board. AOPA has always been there for us much like a big brother. Thanks beyond measure for your support and assistance. As pilots and owners, we will continue to work together diligently with AOPA to keep General Aviation strong. Again thank you for your support."
